It's about so much more than singing...
The Hygge Harmony Choir is a fun and friendly Community Choir rehearsing weekly in Stratford St Mary, between Colchester and Ipswich on the Essex / Suffolk border.
We generally sing ‘popular’ songs in harmony, with no requirement to read music. The sessions are very relaxed and really fun. There are no auditions and no one has to sing on their own! Our name ‘Hygge’ - pronounced Hooga, is a Danish word which means a feeling of wellbeing, joy and happiness. This is how some of the choir have described our group and I think it just about sums it up perfectly. Several of the choir have been singing together for a couple of years and we would love to welcome new members and hope that they enjoy it as much as we do! Whether you feel you can sing or not, you'll sound amazing when singing with a whole choir.
